Which Wood Would You ?

They returned today and got the roof timbers finished, sheeting installed and the first row of shingles installed on one hip.

Should all be done and dusted tomorrow

Thanks and yes, very impressed

They finished yesterday but was too dark to take pictures. I'll update as soon as I get chance to take some pictures in decent light

Looks good, thanks for the pics.

Because it's so close to the neighbours boundary and presumably over 2.5m are you not meant to have planning permission?

What was the overall cost?I. E.
Pergola cost
Fitting cost
Slab cost?

Thanks and no probs
I'll stay silent on the planning
Cost wise it was
£1000 labour and ancillary materials to extend the existing slab
£500 for the Indian stone for the extended patio
£2815 for the gazebo (on offer)
£800 labour to out the gazebo up
So £5115 to date

It's going to be about £85 for the rainwater goods

Then going to get power to it for sockets and lighting

I also want to enclose the rear and far side with cedar cladding which will be another couple if hundred quid

There's then furniture and possibly a small log burner ....
