Hypothetical question. Out of these 2 what would you go for.
Lowest spec 3070 Ti about 1500 clock speed 8gb RAM
Or
6700 XT, 2500 clock speed 12gb RAM but slower FPS
Casual gaming, usual home use, HD and 4K movies

Hmm ok, at the moment its about £500 more which if I am not going to push the card to the max, i have to consider if its worth it but sometimes I do play first player games. MS flight sim, GTA 5 and a few others are my most graphic intense games but who know in the future.
I don't want to spend £xx and in time wish I had bought something else and then have to spend double. So even the slowest 3070 Ti would be better than an average 6700XT ?

Yep, the 6700ct is £500 cheaper at the moment if I can get hold of one.
I guess I won't notice much different most of the time between either card but if the 3070 Ti is available at an affordable price, I might lean towards that option.
I don't game at 4K. I was hoping to get a 4K card and then replace my screen next year.
Either way its going to be better than my R2 290 vapor X,

I need a new PC so the card will be part of that build. The 3070 ti is almost double the 6700xt at the moment.

Trying to compare power consumption between 6700rt and 3070 ti but not sure how much different it will be.
Bad enough that market prices are high but im going from an old R9 290x to something new, about 90 Watts to I think 220W with the 6700xt or 300w with a 3070(ti).

The 6700xt under normal market conditions would be about £450. I have seen some priced up to £850.
The 3070s are more than the 3070 Ti was about 3 weeks ago, which I don't get. The Ti was also about £650 - £900 then.
Now all 3070s and Tis are about £1000
