Ah, you got me there.. . MS flight sim will tax any card. Hardware unboxed review says at 1440p you'd get 38fps from a 6700xt and 44fps from a regular 3070 (non Ti). With anything above 30 being playable they'll both do fine. Both are good cards and should last a few years without too many regrets. Be aware th 3070Ti is ~10% more performance for 20% more money than the regular 3070 but give stock is awful you should probably just get whatever is available if you can get it for a decent price.MS flight sim, GTA 5 and a few others are my most graphic intense games but who know in the future.
Honestly it's definitely not woth £500 more, but if you're able to get a 3070Ti for like £150ish more I'd be going for the nvidia card. I see you said about 4k movies, do you also game at 4k res too? If so both wont be great but the 3070Ti at 1440p would be perfect.if the 6700xt is £500 cheaper that would be my choice everyday of the week
plays everthing I chuck at it on 1440p well over 100 fps av
with very little heat or noise
Personally I’d go with the 3070 ti
