Which Z170

Can anyone advise me which mobo is best suited for the i5 6600k around the £150 mark.

Spend more for a Gigabyte gaming7 or save more with ASUS Pro gamer.

I have the pro gamer to, its a great board. The Ranger is in the RoG family i believe though so in theory and brand its a better board although i couldn't find notable features over the pro gamer to justify the extra cash.

Either pro-gamer or go full out for Hero.

The Ranger is stuck in no mans land.

I'd actually recommend the Ranger. Unless you need the additional connectivity.

I prefer the ranger but I suppose it comes down to personal preference and £££.

I'd go with a Gene if you can stretch a bit, a fantastic solid board and with ocuk's great relationship with Asus warranty issue's are no longer a problem.

I agree with Nick. Gene is the best option around this price point. Then Hero.

But Gene is true ROG whilst Hero is an SI SKU.

I went with the hero viii. It works quite well and auto-overclocked my 6700k to 4.6GHz
