Whinging 'southerners'

1. No I'm making an observation.

2. I wasn't whinging about young people I was relating a conversation that had taken place by others down the pub. I asked what other people thought.

If you are going to comment about me then at least get it right.

Reads like a whinge to me.

Northerners just be jelly that Southerners got it so good, even minor inconsequential problems are the biggest thing we have to worry about

No such thing as "the midlands", that's just northerners in denial. North of the M25 and you're northern.
:p

I'm pretty sure the BBC weather men/girls believe that. When they comment 'we will have a nice day tomorrow' that usually means as far north as Watford.

Before I broke up for Christmas I hadn't bothered wearing a jacket or jumper most days at work. Whilst outside my body temperature was sustained by the shocked and scared looks pointed my way from central Londoners mouthing "are you not cold?!?"... I'm not even from the north, but not the south is brittle.

No we have central heating and money to pay for fuel so the cold does in fact feel cold.

To quote a famous philosopher

"What's the point of a North-South divide if you don't police it?"

It's only fair that the weather forecasting is tailored towards the people that pay for it :p
