white & blue water cool time.

Great work so far :) still jellous of the heatkiller 3

:D thank you :P
I will send you a trust m8 about ;)..

Temps aren't as great as I would have hoped. They still seem to be my limiting factor on my overclock for my CPU so I am looking into a case change and a larger radiator. If I get an 800D I will go for a tripple but if I find a 2nd hand TJ07 going for a good price I will get that and a quad. I will miss my lancool though :(

Why don't you change rad before the case, as you can see in mine u can fit in a tripple rad but on the top of the case.
I was shocked in my temp drop, i've had mine clocked at 4.4ghz @ 1.4v with temps at 50'c fully loaded stable.

what temps are you getting on your 5850?

what is setup is you loop?, mine is res - pump - rad - cpu

I was thinking about doing a 360 in the Lancool but I really don't fancy modding the top if I am honest. Also, I think the extra room of the 800D would be useful.

My GPU temps are good and don't ever seem to go much above 40 degrees with idles of around 28-30, but they go a little higher when overclocked.

My loop order is res - pump - gpu - rad - cpu - res

I have the 360 rad and it really good, keeps my temps down, cpu 25'c idle and 45'c fully loaded. nice gpu temps.

how about if you change your loop to this res - pump - rad - cpu - gpu
see if that makes a change.

what fans are you using?, i am using 3 viper fans.

I have got 3 noise blocker 140mm which have a good static pressure which is what I need for my rad as it has densely packed fins. Changing the loop order won't make any difference unfortunately because the water reaches an equilibrium after about 30 mins or so. I am very tempted to get a tripple rad though.

Oh ok it worth an idea tho, what about a faster pump?.

Ahh, I don't really want a louder pump + for that price I could afford a new rad which would give me a much better performance increase than a faster pump would (and the faster pump would generate more heat which if anything might even increase temps). I suppose I should have gone for a 360 from the start. However, I have seen a few mods around the interwebs and I am tempted to run a 360 with my 280 in a dual rad config in an 800D. Only downside is my DT skills aren't great and I wouldn't want to risk messing up a £200 case lol.

I have the Swiftech Laing D5 Vario MCP655 12V DC Pump, it is dead silent I can't here it at all as for heat itself is cold wen to touch.
