Problem is the resale value, no one would want a car thats been resprayed to a new colour. I wouldn't even if it looks better.

So what about all those people who buy 'rods with custom paint jobs? People who buy resto'd cars with different paint, heavily modified classics, and yes the occasional modern one that someone had resprayed into a colour that they preffered? Saying "no one would want a car thats been resprayed" is pushing it somewhat mate

It's a somewhat special car though, not too many of them around.

I'm still not seeing the problem in selling one on that's had a new paintjob. Once the hypothetical buyer has checked the car over to make sure it hasn't been stacked into a heavy object like a house, or tree, or John Prescott, then they'd know that the paintjob was done solely to make the car look better rather than to hide anything.

Now, if you're point was that the car is supposed to be a certain colour as that's how they came from the factory.....then I don't hold with that opinion either. If I was handed the keys tomorrow to a car that was painted in a colour that I didn't like, and was given the option of respraying it even though the colour was rare, I would

I think it's at a really nice height as it goes.

As much as I usually dislike Focii, that's a great looking car in white.
