Thats absolutely fugly tbh :o

The White one is nice, the wheels could have used a different style white 5 spoke though.
And they could have put those skiny black stripes around the bottom of the car thats on the GT.

How do you know they guy isnt a car painter himself simon ;) :p

Woof!!

Its entirely possible that it (the white one not the above monstrosity!) was resprayed immediately after purchase?

As some will know Subaru only produced the P1 in Sonic Blue but there is one that was painted Dark Mica Blue by a dealer on request of the person who bought it.

So its not unheard of for someone to purchase a car from the showroom and then have painted straight away.

Looks good in white too :)

You don't need to respray these days, as you can do a vehicle wrap for the same effect (which can be removed at any point).

Quite a few CSLs have had this done.

I like white cars :)

Wow, I think it looks very good in white, not too keen on the orange one though, they even sprayed the bonnet and roof in the wrong colour ;) and why not use a piece of paper for the shopping instead of the door :o

Calm down dear. I don't care what anyone says but until backstreet garages have full phosphur dips and electrostatic paint applied by robots I stand by the fact that no paint job will ever match the factory one.

i'd argue that a PROPER hand painted car followed by polishing, flatting and resparying for a few layers COULD be better than a production line paint job.

Whether its the case here or not - who knows, but please dont assume a gaydon factory to be the pinnacle of paint finishing...

Regardless to whether it's a real RS or is powered by a rubberband under the bonnet I think it looks ace.

Wouldn't object to owning a car that looks like that, bugger cleaning it though. :p
