I was about to get another Samsung SSD as I had grown to trust Samsung SSD's but since I last bought one (1TB Samsung 870 EVO two years ago) the issues with the Samsung 870's (and others) have come to light.

I require a new SSD for Windows+Steam+Games only so should the SSD fail and lose it's data, it's not a major issue providing I can get the drive easily RMA'd and replaced by the manufacturer.

With this in mind, which SSD manufacturers would you recommend for easy support/RMA/warranty (from the UK) in case the SSD fails?

Thanks for your reply. Despite my reluctance to buy another Samsung 870 EVO, I'm even more reluctant to buy from another manufacturer as they all seem to have recent issues with reliability and their RMA processes.

As you pointed out, Samsung should have plenty of recent practice with the RMA process, and I am already using Samsung Magician on all my other Samsung SSD's so I think I will stick with Samsung and buy them again.

One thing that I am considering doing different is, rather than buy a single 2TB SSD, I may get two 1TB SSD's in the hope that they won't both fail on the same day.
