Ok then i will re-phrase the question - What John Wayne film was being shown during the Irainian Embassy Seige - i appologise if what i asked was incorrect, im asking on behalf of someone else and thats how they put the question to me I have googled it and i have also found references to people watching a john wayne film that was also interupted.....

Google brings up a lot of people who confirm this but nobody has mentioned the film.
One bloke remembers a train passing through trees before it switched to the Siege.

Its not a guess I have a perfect memory I was eight years old I had toothache and was sitting on my dad's knee watching the John Wayne film...it was Rio Lobo.
