Who can see what is wrong with this?

Made this last week at my supermarket, if anyone can think of any funny but obviously SFW phrases I can make one stick it up and I'll take a pic!

Well I've come across no Guidelines dictating to me what to do, I thought it'd brighten up someones day after seeing many 'Buy one get one free!' or 'Supersave' etc.

I showed it the shop-floor supervisor and he said put it up so it'd appear I did nothing against the rules.

I work at Tesco (Pffft it's a job I suppose :( )

I get asked this a lot, it's usually because there is one product in the range that if you bought 2 it would come to more than the offer is. Therefore the labels for them all is yellow. I don't understand why they can't just have the one on offer yellow, as buying 2 of the others doesn't add up to £4.

So I was right, then.

Thank you, and goodnight.

Morrisons sell a box of 12 bottles (275ml) Carlsberg Export for £10, pallets of the stuff on display, however you can buy 2 packs of 6 bottles (275ml) for £4.75 per pack, making it £9.50..... these hidden on the shelf.

Tesco have tricking stupid people down to a fine art. They have loads of tricks such as making bigger boxes of things more expensive per gram then then smaller ones.

Once they were offering 5p discount on fuel if you purchased toilet paper, but they put the price up on the bog roll that week, meaning unless you had a tank to fill up you would loose money not save compared to other brands.

lol I see this all the time as Tesco.... walkers sensations crisps the big bags on offer at 87p per bag but then say 2 for £2.00....lol sorry no pic bt will keep an eye out.

I always have a big kick off when the price is displayed wrong the other week i was in Asda and they had 8 can packs of sprite, fanta & Dr pepper on offer for £2 but then on the next shelf the had Dr pepper the same 8 packs for £3.89 each or 2 packs for £5.....
??? when they went through the check out they went at £3.89 so i well moaned about it, the checkout girl called someone over they checked and said yea it right £3.89 she checked twice i had to show her where i got them from she looked at the offer and said no that's no right...... she was well miffed off, i got them at £2 though lol

I will explain.

In the above picture, 2 for £12. There is more than just that one item included in the offer. For example, one of them maybe £5 but the one next to it maybe £9, or £7. So you can mix and match, therefore any 2 for £12 is a good deal. Obviously if you buy the above offer it will cost you £10 only.

Same goes for all the other ones posted in this thread.

Tick Tock

Saw one today that made me laugh, in the freezer section of my local tesco metro..

Jamie Oliver's various pollocks, every item in the range, fish fingers, fish cakes, etc, all £1 each.. and in the middle, a big yellow sign.. 2 for £3

i used to have a somerfields local to me and very often they would have signs advertising a 1p reduction. ok so it's cheaper and technically not wrong.... but what was the point of having the labels made up??? :/

Because more people will buy them.
