Who decided we should work a 5 day week?

Sounds nice on paper, nothing would ever get done though.

Plus, you'd be earning less and have one more boozy night on the town to fund.

I have every Monday and Friday off this month. 3-day weeks for the win! (But not using your holiday up earlier in the year on a proper holiday for the lose :()

This always makes me wonder, but I always manage to realise that I've worked it out 100000000000 times before. One day, someone said "Lets do more than them and we'll be more prosperous!" and then everyone had to aswell. This is how most things progress.

I know anyone can go part time but what if things were still relatively balanced and we worked less, i think we all work too much and are expected too.

French yeh, they can survive on a diet of snails and frogs aswell, which would lesson the enslavement costs.

I would like 4 or possibly 3 and a half days to be the standard so we all get a more laid back lifestyle.

I have school 6 days a week. That pretty much destroys my social life on Friday evenings.

The economic climate things cost more therefor we have to work more. 5 day weeks? Pah I work 6 day weeks 7:30 till 5:00, never mind I have a proper weekend this week.

I'm currently on placement and where i am they do a four day weeks! It is great although it means working longer hours i.e 8-6 instead of 8-4 but knowing i have a day off through the week is a lovely feeling :D Would definetly like to work this way when im qualified! :D

I used to work 4 x 10 hour shifts a week ...I used to love it ! felt like I was hardly in work !

It was horrible working 5/6 days in a row sometimes though :/

Where do you work cupcake?

I used to work 7 days a week. Did it for a month, didn't like it.

Currently on placement at the royal infirmary in edinburgh in the outpatients phyiotherapy department :)

I hate weekends. It's so frustrating having to wait until Monday because <big company> is only open within working hours.
