Who else hates pop up?

BC2 has a ton of it and its incredibly annoying, especially when flying helicopters, sometimes you can see people behind objects before the object draws in, so you know where to spam your missiles.

I remember seeing a weird bug in BF2, in gulf of oman i was scooting along in a tank and in the distance i could see a guy in a jeep, problem was the jeep wasn't actually visible, so it was just the guy in the seated driving position flying along. Jeep didn't materialise till i was a few feet away from him. :p
 
first thing I noticed in the hunter but I got used to it and don't notice it as much now. it even has pop-down where the grass goes down into the ground as you get to it. shame it doesn't fade in to make it less noticeable.
 
I seem to remember getting very frustrated at Oblivion for having this exact problem, even today without mods (and even with sometimes) on a powerful graphics card, the late rendering of grass and such annoys me.
