Who else is feeling the workload squeeze (assignments/dissertation etc)?

10k to do by friday... Completely forgot about it to be honest given the work and general stuff thats happened over the last few weeks so iv got a week to typing frantically :(
 
I've just handed in the draft of my first progress report for my doctorate. It reads really badly and I'm going to get taken apart over it. Guarantee that :(
 
In contrast, this semester is far easier for me :p, got 1 applied mechanics exam in a month and the next is a maths exam nearly 3 weeks later :D. I have a nonsense management module to do too, but thats getting next to no effort put in. I'll be gutted if I fail maths/mechanics though.
 
2k words into a 10k dissertation, going quite well now :) still got 2 weeks to do it, but want to finish it this week. all of my research is done, all testing etc done too, just have to fit the thing together!
 
I'm slowly making progress on the code of my project, but also have to do a report, max of 15k words...and don't know how to start it. Want to get all of this done over the next two weeks. Grrr, stupid disso.
 
Just started - 12 page presentation +2k of written work for it

Haven't started 1k peer review (several exercises need to be completed first)

or a 5k word investigation into something i cant remember

Got quite a lot left on dissertation.

Less than 2 weeks left. Fun times =D

I love the feeling of last minute stress though!
 
Six weeks before my exams start. 2 reports left to write (Finishing one today hopefully and the other tomorrow)

Then 7 exams over 4 weeks, all of which are a massive ball ache. Having said that though, 3rd year aero has been better than 2nd year. This time 12 months ago we had only just been given a giant design project that ate up all my revision time.

Still stressed though!
 
I'm 75% done on my second of my 4 main assignments this year (6.5K words in so far). I've then got next week to do as much damage as I can on an advanced CAD assignment, and a month to polish off a big Project Management assignment. There's now a (dim) light at the end of the tunnel!
 
Annoyingly, I have till 7th May to complete my disso, but I want to get it done over the next two weeks, whilst I'm not at uni, before I head back, gives me two weeks to doss about completely then. :D

Problem is, I know the deadline is further away than I've set my personal one, so motivation is lacking somewhat. I am working on it though. Coding is the easy part, I just can't for the life of me work out what to put into the report and how to do so. Doesn't help I've left a really handy piece of paper back at uni and I can't go fetch it.

Saying that, i did mine the night before...and then 2 days later i did 4000 words from 9pm until 8am. It was due in at midday. Never again. I don't deserve my degree. Myself and a few mates have done every single essay the night before right from the word go. It's an amazing accomplishment but if i had started just a few days before...i could be actually getting a first rather than being JUST on a 2.1.

2 essays left and then i need to grow up and graduate!
 
I have 18 days, 17 hours, 11 minutes till my project/disso is due.

(I think) My system is finished...doing my report now, at about 70 pages now and I've hit a brick wall. Plus LaTeX loves to give me a hard time.

Plugged away for 7 hours today on a management assignment, and got another 4K words down (just past 10k now). I kept hitting the wall after about 4 hours, and couldn't concentrate no matter what I did, so came here for a few minutes at a time to clear my head. :D

Very nearly finished that assignment, another half an hour and I'm done. It'll all be over soon...

Aghagagh my brain's melting.

Just finished a 100 page advanced CAD assignment (printed off yesterday), and have the conclusion, progress log, referencing and appendices to complete for my (so far) 15K word project management assignment (to hand in by 5pm Friday, so should finish tomorrow/Thurs after work). Zzzzzzzzzzz.....

All finished for the year on Friday though (bar a meeting), so I'll be able to clean my cars at last! \o/

I've got my AS DT coursework to hand in tomorrow - still putting finishing touches to it if you know what I mean ;)
Hopefully it won't be a complete pile of bull, but I don't know as my teacher hasn't actually taken any more that an 5 minute glance over it! When that's in, I'll just have half a million past papers to do before exams start :eek:.
