Who has a dog that sheds and is it a pain in the ****?

We're getting a keeshond in Jan, maybe check them out? They have a double coat but only shed once a year all in one go

I thought the whole point of a labradoodle was that they didn't shed? The same as anything crossed with a poodle?

They would be one of my choices but the gf doesn't like them as much as a full on lab, however she also isn't keen on the shedding aspect of it so something is going to have to give!
Labradoodledor + Labradoodle bitch, Labradoor Dog.

It's a real predicament. I've always had Yorkshire Terriers and Westies when growing up so malting/shedding was never an issue and something i've never had to put up with.
The problem lies with my partner not really liking any of the breeds that are shedders, so we may have to do some research into which breeds shed the least.......

We have a short haired German pointer cross with spaniel, he sheds hair constantly. Daily vacuuming is a must.

I have a Collie and I've no idea how he isn't bald with the amount of hair he loses. My house, car and office always look like they've never been hoovered.

Cavelier spaniels malt/shed EVERYwhere. So maybe dont get one of them either. But gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous dogs if you can forgive the doggy fur.
Maybe though as others suggest, learn to accept dog hair. :D

We have a cavapoo and you never see any hair anywhere at all. Have you had a DNA check on the dog?
Na not really. I presumed shedding was relative rather than absolute.
Some of it must be the puppy coat as he’s still under one.
Too late now. Kids are keeping him.
