To be honest, I was struggling to think of what it would be, had a bit of a brain blank. But you're right, hospitality is a better fit.
Loyalty schemes: I'm not certain but I think if she goes 3 times in a month or something similar she gets a door gift like ice shot glasses or a load of Tupperware. There might be a stamp card - not sure. Like I said, utter crud, but she still brings it home...
Responsible gambling: I think this is really important. Having a handle on responsible gambling is key, particularly in this day and age when there is such a focus on mental health and addiction. You need systems in place to keep your customers safe and the regulator happy. As a big player in the gaming industry Rank/Mecca will know how to do this well and I expect head office would help individual clubs to manage their responsibilities appropriately. White space: it's a bit of a consulting term. It just means a relatively underpenetrated market. I was trying to say that there could be opportunity to market to a younger demographic. I'm just hypothesising though based on stereotypes! They might have tried and failed already.
