Never damaged anything through overclocking, although I fried two AMD Athlon chips by switching them between two very different (but still Socket A) motherboards back in my noob days. Needless to say they haven't worked since.
I'm running my E4300 with a 66% increased clock, and have been for 3 years now. If the chip's degraded, it's not noticeable.
Hopefully, by the time you've shortened the life of the chip enough to actually affect you (if that's even possible) you'll be getting an upgrade anyway. (I, for instance, am after a new CPU unless I can squeeze an extra GHz from my OC. I think a 95% OC might be pushing it
).
And Lol @ fake video.
