Who has SKY HD+?

really? thats a bit of a let down...although I havent watched CSI in a long time. Havent watched it since Grisom left. Seem to loose track of the episodes and watch them in a random order

Might be a daft question but I had a leaflet through the door this week saying £20 for TV/Internet/Calls with Sky+HD box.

Reading the small print it says £10pm for Sky+ features and another £10pm for SkyHD. I know you have to pay for SkyHD but I thought Sky+ was free?

Wouldn't mind getting Sky for the new football season but if it's pushing £60-70 for HD, Sports and internet then I won't bother!

Its £10pm for the sky+ features if you dont have a channel pack :)

I've had Sky HD+ for a while now and it was great if slightly over priced imo....until recently when my box decided to continually freeze or channels would no longer appear, sky wanted to charge me to send an engineer out just to look at it until i decided that i would just cancel it at which point they decided to send an engineer out who replaced the box, all free of charge.

Typical of Sky.

Even CSI tonight on Ch5 HD isnt actually in HD. Pathetic really, surely those american imports are filmed in HD? Everything seemed HD when i was last over there :/

CSI is indeed filmed in HD in the USA. Annoying how we're not getting HD copies, especially with the new series of Miami last night!

The only two shows that I've seen on 5HD that are actually in HD; Neighbours and Home & Away. :(

i looked into it at the beggining of the year when it was £50 for HD+ box and £30 installation for new customers and £60 for existing customers,so i complained and said as a loyal customer i should be getting the better deal and i might aswell cancel sky and rejoin as new customer,so i said forget it i will just cancel it all together,a week later i had a letter through door with offer of free HD+ box and free installation i had to take the offer up to good to say no,i told my neighbour about it and he phoned up saying he had same letter and they did him same deal cheeky sod.

I just recently got:

Activation of BT Line (£130 from BT?)
Free Installation
Sky HD 250GB Box
Basic Broadband
Sky 'Talk'
Line Rental
Sky w/ Variety Pack (no HD package, just bbc1 HD etc)

for £29 / month.

My Pace HD box updated its EPG last night, now on version 9.something. Anyone know what the changes are? Hopefully it will sort out the periodic freezing on HD playback I've been having since putting a 1TB drive in.

only problem i have had with my box is if i start to watch a recording while its still on it goes a bit weird sometimes. Programs doesn't go into the series stack and if I try to re watch it tells me it cannot find purchasing information. Only had it twice so far though.

Recently upgraded to Sky+ HD and it's simply awesome. More and more channels are being broadcasted in HD; keep them coming!

I guess my biggest problem with sky tv is not knowing what program to watch. I always find myself flicking between two programs. Theres just so many channels.

Looking to get Sky HD and broadband. Online price comes to £63.50
Sky HD
Sky sports 1 & 2
Broadband unlimited
Sky talk (unfortunately have to get this, even though i wont be using the telephone)

Do sky often give discounts like VM or is the price online set in stone?

Very rarely have I found Sky to give out discounts. Instead they usually let you try Sky Sports or Sky Movies for like 2-3months, but I have never been given a set discount like VM would.

anyone got todays email?
up by £1 - maybe they should stop dicking about with sky 3d and stop overcharging....think im pretty close to cancelling now. fed up with the £10 hd charge (thats increasing through pack plans), constant rising of prices and generally sky taking its customers for mugs.
