Who has the highest 360 gamerscore on the forums?

Sorry to be niave, but what does hacking the 360 involve - I didn't even know it was possible.

Obviously please don't answer if it violates forum rules.

Cheers

Sorry, powers that be won’t allow it being mentioned.

Well I have just over 6K and am well chuffed as I have only really completed a couple of games but just simply don't have the hours in the day to play the 360 as much as I would like.

I personally thought that the achievement system was a good thing but similar to BF2142 for the PC it has been tainted by exploiters either using saved games that have been traded over the net or they have got other people to do the achievements for them.

I still think it is a great system but I am more interested in getting some of the harder achievements rather than go for the easy points.

I do believe that might be Wyrdo, although im probably wrong.

I was number 1 for quite a while, probably till the summer when I kinda gave up on the 360 for a while. I don't really have the time these days although I do still try to get all the achievements I can.

I'm not sure what the whole hacking issue has to do with this thread though apart from maybe the fact people will be playing games a bit before others? The scores are still valid.

I agree with this. I'm not a fan of hackers, but I don't see why it makes any difference how they obtained their games - they have still played and earned the points. In this situation, it's exactly the same as anyone who rents games.

I thought you couldn't use hacked machines on Live??

bah! only had my xbox a week and have a miniscule 115 points

Fair point, however, they've acquired their games for no cost so there's nothing stopping them from potentially playing most of the 360 games available. Whereas I only have about 11 games because I can't afford to buy or even rent all of them. Hence I have access to a lower potential maximum.

My excuse anyway :p

So what about people who can afford to buy all the games they want, does that mean their score doesn't count? :p.
(Not that I can afford games at all, being from Fife too ;)).

Or rent them. Depending on how quickly you finish a game you could get through quite a few rentals per month.
