Who has the most posts?

where does all the buying of posts occur anyway?

What is the monetary value of one OcUK post?

In a post acuction 2 years ago. Although there has been a few smaller ones.

IIRc 35000ish posts where bought between three people for around £700

edit - actually it was 355,765 posts between 4 users http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=10452375#post10452375

1st place £210
2nd place -- £200
3rd - - £175
4th- - £174.78

Total raised = 759.78

+ the tax rebates

I'm not sure Fox's are all genuine. Someone told me he won a load in some charity auction thing.

I think you were informed wrongly, to the best of my knowledge [TW]Fox's post count is entirely genuine, he really has made that many posts. From memory though Gilly would still be ahead of him even if his augmented post count was removed and he just went back to the "true" level. It's much more of a close run thing now as Gilly posts significantly less than he used to.

My post count is 20k shy of where it should be due to giving them away in a couple of post count auctions, it's easy to get a bit hung up on post counts but really they're no reflection on the quality of the poster at all or whether their opinion is worth listening to.

usually charity auctions. people donate there posts. others bid for the sum of all the donated posts. highest bidder donates the bid to charity and then an admin gives them the posts

on that note i have no idea what my real count is

Indeed, this is why I completely ignore you.

Apart from then obviously :/

Or say a dozen, 30 second posts in the space of a hour or so browsing time.
it doesn't take a long time to write 90% of posts as they're under a paragraph long.

Exactly. Not sure why some people think having a huge postcount is either difficult or means you don't do anything but post on the internet.

Many people will browse at work/uni/home etc etc and your average post takes what, 20 seconds? I killed loads of time in lectures/when I should have been doing coursework by posting on here :p

I've never won/donated any posts so I guess mine is genuine but it is over the last SEVEN YEARS which is hardly a short space of time.

Gilly always had quite a few more than me when his count was genuine, though.
