Who is looking forward to GTA V

Hey guys as someone who didn't play GTA V on last gen consoles i am quite excited about this coming soon. So i have a question for you all

Who is looking forward to playing GTA V who hasn't played it before
Who has played GTA V before, but is still looking forward to playing it

and who has played it and isn't interested

i bought it cheap for the old 360 that we have in our house but have barely scratched the surface of playing it. I'm waiting for the ps4 version...looks way better/smoother and worth waiting for.

Barley scratched the surface?

Do you mean in terms of the whole scope of the game or do you mean the story aswell.

I completed the SP stuff, but left it there as I had a feeling they would release it on the current gen systems, now I can replay the story again and then collect/finish all the side stuff I never did on the 360.

How good is the story? ive heard mixed reviews

The heists are brilliant, in GTA4 I felt the SP had too samey missions but this they really varied things up and it was fantastic.

Very cool it's funny actually with it being so highly acclaimed i know nothing about the game apart from you play as 3 characters Glad i had the patience to wait as it was inevitable for a Next gen or pc release

I enjoyed the story more than GTA IV.

It's pretty standard (but certainly not bad) but the heists are fantastic.

How about content ? I mean i remember going from GTA SA where you could do so much stuff for the time example like going to the gym and getting ripped. all sorts of little details like that made SA awsome

It was disappointing that they had removed so much of it in GTA IV. Have they added much of this content back in or is it still not there.

With GTA being one of my favourite franchises ever I'm completely hyped for it again.

I've put in over 500 hours in total and will likely double that in the next gen release as I've actually been holding myself back from playing recently.

Can't wait to go through the story again as I only went through it once originally because I knew there would be a Xbox One release. Will be nice having the alternate missions to play as they will be new to me.

Having earned all 1000/1000 achievements will be fun doing this again too.

How easy were the achievements/trophies for this game take a while or?

Looking forward to seeing the nice graphics but I'm not bothered about the game itself. Didn't have much desire to replay it once I finished the story.

Not even for random mindless carnage?

I remember when i finished GTA SA story and turned it off for a few months then something clicked and i had to go on a jetpack joyride and cause absolute chaos

I hope that GTA V Can also fill that deep dark hole of randomness

EDIT : Yeah the graphics are going to be quite nice Wonder what the framerate is going to be ? 30/60 and 1080 or less

Also i will be playing this on the PS4 not pc so wont get the full effect but i don't know why i just don't play on the pc much any more i find myself enjoying my ps4 more

Hmm not sure. I got to about 60% I think on the PS3 but got distracted by something else and never went back to it. I won't get it day one but I might do down the line. Or I might get swept up in the hype again and cave in and buy it day one. Never know

Hype trains can be deadly things! As we all saw with watchdogs!

Different situation i know but be careful of buying through the hype ( i say that as im planning to buy it on launch ) Because im not contradicting myself at all!

I always think that I am to clever to fall for the hype...

Then I fall for it

Yeah i understand that feeling.

For me it usually goes

Trailer > Looks cool > Want it > Hype train > Will avoid > Releases tomorrow > Sits watching every video possible about it > Buys next day > Gets angry at bad game hype train

I loved it on the 360, so much so I played the story twice and spent many many hours online. While I loved it and certainly got my moneys worth I am not sure it is worth double dipping.

Would be nice if they offered some form of cheaper option for those who already bought the game last year.

It's a shame to hear people saying it was so poor performing last year aswell as much as down to 15fps wow!

eggyoke im sure there will be a character i find interesting and gta IV was also not as good as VC or SA

nice to hear that its not to hard to get 100% awards i imagine this will end up being a game i platinum just by playing it haha!

I'll probably get it early next year when the new games have stopped coming out and I can devote some decent time to it.

Yeah! it's the horror of the holiday season! I think i will be getting shadow of mordor this weekend then that will be me stocked up until i can afford a new tv! where GTA V will be christening it i hope! im determined to wait a while myself to buy most of the up coming games!

GTA:V, Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition all coming out the same week...

:L Oh..... Well i wasnt to impressed with FC3 ( although i understand why a lot of people enjoyed it )

So i think i will end up getting GTA V and Dragon age

EDIT : There was just a HUGE crack of thunder up in rochdale/littleborough area and it made me think after composing myself what is the weather system like in gta V

I absolutely can not wait for this.

I never played it on the PS3 as I sold my PS3 while it was still worth something before gta v came out.

I've purposelly (is that a word) avoided any videos of it so everything is fresh for me.

Ah "purposely", I did think the way I wrote it didn't make sense

I've pre ordered on Psn so ps4. I've assumed it will be slightly better on ps4 (going from past multi platform titles) although I'll be reading the digital foundry face off when it's released and if the Xbox one was better I reckon I'd pick a copy up on that.

I'm hoping I enjoy gta 5, as I got bored of gta 4 very quickly and it's the only gta game I didn't fully complete.

If your going to be playing online you will have to let me know your psn details could be interesting playing together against the world let them know who ocuk are mwuhaha

Yeah i know what you mean with GTA IV but it was good on pc after modding!

but im definitely getting it on ps4 just more fun for me atm

I've never played this so really looking forward it.

I have a horrible feeling that it's going to have performance issues though which I'm starting to grow tired of as it seems to be commonplace with next gen titles thus far.

I can't say ive seen any major performance issues with any games that i have played

though i have not played lots of them i cant say any have had a bad gameplay experience on the ps4 ( im not including online play as we understand the network can be bad ect and i haven't used it much myself )

single player games have all performed brilliantly for me

I'm really looking forward to it, I'll be getting it on PC though as I've already finished it on PS3, even bothered to go out of my way for the radioactive waste collection and some of the other collectables.

Thats sounds like a pretty interesting collectable.

Does it have a similar system as the other gtas where you collect certain things and you get rewarded with a certain thing appearing at your homes ie a load of guns lined up outside?
