freestyle > choreography

i bet if these guys had to freestyle they would suck.

i know a guy in a group similar to this and when he dances in a club, he uses all his choreography moves, so basically he does the same stuff every time he is out, sure he gets a lot of attention, but only by people who know nothing about urban dancing. he practices every day, etc. whereas a natural dancer, who never practices would own him at freestyle.

chris brown is good at freestyle and choreography, he makes the choreographed work look a lot more natural than these guys. usher does good choreographed stuff but im pretty sure he is weak at freestyle.

a good dancer is one which makes it look natural, as if he isnt even concentrating on what he is doing because he is doing what comes naturally to him, without having to pre-plan the next move in his head like in a choreographed piece.

when i see some dancers doing this sort of stuff, you can even see them counting the steps in their head some of the time, e.g. 1,2,3,4, bam, 1,2,3,4, etc.

also your question is very subjective, theres probably around 1,000 different styles of dancing and people who prefer one would obviously say that is better than the other. e.g. ballet > waltz, therefore the best ballet dancer in the world is the best dancer in the world.

if you wanna see who is the best at urban dancing, my best bet would be some unknown guy from a ghetto in america.
