The short answer to this is no, everything takes effort, particularly if you are starting out with little capital to begin with. The more capital you have, the easier it is to make passive income, providing you are a decent investor.

If you want to research ways of making money see:

There's loads of stuff easy income depends if you want to be legal or not.
never paid tax on any btc earnings in the past, made sure i didnt sell via exchanges / make sure all cars i service / repair are cash with the odd one wanting to just transfer cash into my bank.

my main job pays my share of tax and NI, not paying any more to cover the lazy " insert what ever word here " who just plan a life on the dole.

something else i also do, fo me its about how much i can save aswell as how much extra you can earn. this in its self is earning extra money. I consider my self quite frugal tbh, i dont spend a lot on clothing / foot ware / really dont buy stuff i dont need, and if i can buy something second hand i will.

at one point i had 5 MS rewards account * naughty naughty * with game pass and all the ways of earning points i was raking it in, an example is last year last christmas food shopping and most of the present was paid for via gift cards i redeemed my ms rewards for. i did nearly all the work to get the points while at work so was been paid to do it lol

No but close enough :p what else is passive other than investments?
Royalties I'd say is the main one, plus renting things out with any maintenance/overheads etc subcontracted.

You could maybe make an argument that getting paid to do something you were going to do anyway is 'passive' (e.g. getting paid to surf the web when that used to be a thing, or winning prize money in some sort of competition you enjoy playing in) but I don't think it really flies as you're still having to perform an action regardless of the fact it's not an additional action above what you'd do without being paid.

I know someone who works at a large supermarket with a rewards card. She scans hers when the person answers no they don't have theirs.

She told me that any one day can see 2 to 3k worth of points being added to her card. And the vouchers she gets are not insignificant..

I do that too I was working there, perks of the job. They’d probably see it as theft though, would love to see her round up from last year!!

It’s similar if I’m in Costa/Starbucks etc and the person infront/behind doesn’t have a card, I just say can I scan mine? Every single person just goes yeh sure.

Weirdly, I know 2 people who've both been sacked for doing this exact thing.

Passive income is usually putting your money to work for you so you need money to start with.
Goes back to what the likes of Warren Buffet will say. Save more than you spend, don't buy what you don't need etc. Build savings then invest. You have to work hard first to reap the rewards later.
Those on youtube teaching this, that and the other are obviously making money from Youtube and likely good money too, not via what they're teaching you to do :).

Personally, for me, my passive income just comes from investments through an investment ISA and my SIPP, but in all honesty both of these probably won't be touched until I'm close to retirement.

Other than that, I also have money in easy access savings accounts and premium bonds that on average earn me a couple of grand a year, I may look at buying rental property at some point, but that will depend on the market.
