Who likes cake? I like cake :)

That's a fantastic looking cake! I remember having different cakes on each one of my birthdays and always remember them.

I'll be hiring you for my next birthday :)
 
I am not a cake person, I'd eat it on special occasion but other times during the year, i never buy it.

I'd love Muffins though!

That's becuase bought cake sucks.

I do like to make a cut and come again cake for picknics and you can't go wrong with a carrot cake with cream cheese topping. But like you it's a couple of times a year.

No, even from small tiny cafe where they bake their own cake. Or people at work bring in their cake that they made (had a bake off yesterday at work). Whether it is cup cake, big cake, carrot cake, icing etc etc. I just can't find myself loving it.

About once in a blue moon I would buy a slice of carrot cake or chocolate cake from Starbucks. But we are talking about once in every 2/3 years!

I do like Cheesecake though, not the same thing, it's more like mousse on biscuit, even that is about once or twice a year!

Muffins, once a week!
 
I'm actually not a huge cake person myself, but I thought it would be a bit of a challenge to make something that didnt look like I'd bought it then sat on it..

Plus I knew we'd have plenty of people to eat it so it didnt go to waste :)

Thanks for all the kind comments guys, Im normally about as artistic as a pork sausage, so its surprising to me that I can make a cake that looks better than if I'd have attempted to draw it. lol
