Who thinks this'd be worth doing?

Your current rig will handle all games fine I don't think it'd be worth it unless you just want the very best on the market.

I don't see how your games will run any smoother on the new rig if they are already struggling on your current spec since you are using the same graphics cards.

If all you do is gaming you will be much better off saving up for DX10 card.

so youl be able to knock 20 minutes off an encode, gain 10fps in games and have windows repond 15 milliseconds quicker... big woop for all that hassle.

save your money for a DX10 card instead.

if you were building a brand new system i would say sure, go for it, but as your existing system is already high end... utterly pointless.

my advice :

Give me you're £££ u have plenty to spare it seems :P..

heh, nah... but seriously, you're system is nice enough, u got plenty of time to wait for a much bigger (as in more worthwhile) investment than a 1-3% performance increase.

Thanks for all the input guys, think I might well just wait and see what the the new ATI's have to offer instead. and Socaddict, Trust enabled :D
