Who uses invert mouse for FPS games?

I can't use inverted mouse (I use joystick for games like Crimson skies.)
Inverted mouse is so strange to me, being a full on FPS gamer since half-life, so it's more of a habit and preference.

I however, can only use inverted view controls on an xbox pad since halo.

I think it all depends on what you start off from, seeing as I started off half-life with normal mouse and halo with inverted view controls, things just stay on as a habit and changes will just make it... weird.

Another for inverted here. I find FPSs are just like fast flight sims anyway, flying about corridors.

Maybe it's cos I'm another TIE Fighter fan.

I'm an inverty thanks to my bro. I'd only get to play games after him since it was his uber 486. Its the tilting forwards and backwards argument for me. With third person shooters I can play either way as its less immersive. Non-inverted feels like moving the crosshair than the character itself. Thats how I distinguish them anyway.

If you use inverted mouse it means your brain is in backwards :p FACT ;)

I cannot see how you do it in an FPS but in a flight sim i can understand it.

Very true.

Off topic, like the sig, although I preferred the London Underground song, and the Ronan Keating parody "You look like s***, when you wear nothing at all".

An inverted mouse only feels correct when playing flight sim games or flying in BF2 for example.

FPS games then its non invert, obviously the non inverted gamers here pwn inverted as they have to think about it too much which in turn slows their reflexes...

When you want to click on the start button in windows you dont move yir mouse upwards since its " natural ", you obviously move it down.
:p
jking ;)

I've used inverted since the days of descent. I always think of it as moving my head around, if I want to look down my head goes forward, if I want to look up my head pulls back. The pointer doesn't move up or down on the screen so it's not the same as in windows. Basically, people who don't use inverted mouse just don't know how to think in 3D :p They're barely a step up from keyboarders :p
