Well I've completed my upgrade from WHS v1 to 2011 and generally I'm happy with it, although it doesn't really do any more than the previous version did. One thing I have found though is that restoring individual files from backups is rediculously slow, on the order of 1MB/s!
After some research, it appears this is a well known issue which Microsoft refuse to address. Has anyone found a solution to this? If I can't resolve it then I'm going to seriously consider reinstalling v1, especially as I've not yet even entered my product key for 2011, let alone activated it, so could revert to v1 and sell on the copy of 2011.
