Got a Noah mini-itx case with an Intel D945GCLF2 mobo, 2TB 3.5" SATA HDD and a 500 GB 2.5" SATA HDD. I want to use WHS and stream my movies etc to my Asus O!Play. Which drive would be best to install WHS on - biggest or smallest?

I would install it on the 2TB drive. Purely because it then becomes the only non-moveable drive and you are very unlikely to ever change it. Plus, WHS partitions 20Gb for itself only. Make sure there are no files on it!

I'd use the 500gb tbh. The did recommend using a large HDD for the OS when they used the landing zone within WHS Software but I believe that isn't used anymore so it shouldn't matter.

It be easier to remove the 2tb if it failed and it could hold a lot of data...

I'd go with the 2TB drive...you'll be limited to the number of disks you'll be able to fit in your machine, so more than likely you'll want to replace the 500GB drive sooner rather than later. If your OS is on the smaller drive it will mean a reinstall of the OS which is much more time consuming than using WHS to remove a drive and add a new one to the storage pool.
