Arrgghhh, went to the states 2 weeks ago to reinstall there servers. Wrote some good documentation but came back and had no time to finnsh off.

They are pushing for it by friday so i thought no probs, plugged in laptop and read document and its 99% complete. Then BSOD and its gone, hadn't synced yet so its gone. Tried loads of software to recover but nothing :(

Original took about 5hrs but i can't remember everything so the new version is going to be pants :mad:
 
Did you use Winword? This auto saves to somewhere every few minutes. Not sure where OTOH, have a look on Google.
 
Word should autosave to the Autorecover Files folder set within Tools->Options->File Locations so have a look there, tbh if Word has crashed then it should prompt you on next open to say there is a recovered file and what do you want to do with it - this is assuming that you haven't turned the auto save option off.
