Why are More Than/Police so ******* useless!

First off I do feel sorry for you, but this should be a learning experience for you. Firstly don't trust the police to get anything right, I am sure most police are professional and trustworthy but they are not from the most intelligent stock, below average intelligence should be treated as such.

Secondly if you have a non fault claim and are insured TP then don't expect too much help, your insurance is underwritten by a company and their first interest is making money, if they help you with something you are not paying for they are losing money.

I have legal cover so they should be putting a stop to it and NIG/Churchill are a third party trying to claim money off me.

I've passed on the details of Equity to Churchill but they've come back to me saying they still want their money, in the letter they also put they haven't had any response from my insurer

I can't be bothered to read your thread so I'm just going by the title, just thought I'd say that every single experience I have had with the police has been very positive. I think they do a fantastic job.

lol @ ajstan

OP I couldn't be bothered to read your thread so I only read the first sentence so all I have to say is "chill out man!"

(joking aside what you've described is a terrible state of affairs and I don't see why you should be liable for passing on information verbatim given to you by the Police)

Sorry, that was just laziness on my part, I just hate it when people group the whole police force together and call them rubbish just because they had one bad experience.

Yeah, on the same basis I cant believe nobody votes the Nazi party into office any more, just because that one time they got elected in Germany went so bad ^^

Seems like a bit of a pickle to be in really, the only mistake you made was trusting the polices information.

Why you should have to pay for that is beyond me, if you cannot resolve this matter through normal means, then your only other option is through the courts.

I would absolutely out right refuse to pay, but keep badgering the insurance companies until its resolved. If you get a court summons, I go and explain the situation backed up with as much evidence as you can find. All this has come about because the police didn't do their job correctly.

You do realise when I say police I mean the police officers involved, there were three on the scene and one I dealt with on the phone plus whoever was meant to handle the guy's producer (took him a month to produce), it's just easier to say 'police'.

That's some useless services you describe there SS. Get your solicitor on the job - direct all communication through them.

As for the pics in the other thread... ow
Looking at the mess made of your discovery, I had to cringe. I'd be gutted if mine got smashed like that.
Add to that the run around with the insurance and whatnot, I'd be wanting blood.
