Why are my colours way off when I export them?

I've got a fair bit of pictures to process but I'm having trouble exporting the pictures in the same colour.

I'm importing RAW files into Lightroom and then exporting as JPEGS with quality set to max. I've checked the colour profiles and everything seems to be set to adobe 1998.

Below is an example, on the right is the same image exported. As you can see, it's a lot darker.

I'd really appreciate any help.

why are you using adobe rgb?

Most programs can't display embedded profiles so thats your problem.

In photoshop I have to use save for web to get the same colours as when I process it. Something similar here?

I noticed the same thing last night tbh. The exported jpg when viewed in IE looked a lot darker than the image in lightroom. My camera is defo set to sRGB, I'll check lightroom is too. Looked like something todo with export settings tho.
