why are the roads so greasy at the moment?

Rwd and no traction control is great fun in this weather, no need to be going fast to have fun like in the dry
 
Haven't had any troubles whatsoever - barring some ice coming back from Henlow late at night.

We have hardly any salt or anything laid down around here, seemingly - possibly the cause?

If not, you do realise that the right pedal is not a switch, guys? :p

It has been 'shiny' on some days though where the roads have that slightly unnerving 'gleam' to them where you can see what could turn into ice but is usually damp. On days like this I'm just driving everywhere in 3rd and 5th, solves any traction issues :)

Exactly, and with not so many ppl being on the roads today i may be forced to go out and have a blast :)

A myth. Was quite busy when I went out earlier :( The M62 was great without any trucks though :D

Me too! Been going straight on at a few roundabouts and thought i was being a bit simple! Glad to hear similar stories - thankfully not going quick enough in the foci to get oversteer! :D
