I thought everybody flamed consoles now days on pc forums and vise versa on console forums. But on our very own pc forum. People post more on the consoles then the pc games one :O

Totaly random i know... but im bored and disgusted!

Better games, and any that are on PC almost certainly going to be released on the 360 as well. PC games have been struggling recently, and where before we had the cutting edge games released on PC only...the current consoles are capable of putting out the same quality graphics, audio etc.

better games on the 360 you say? ive never played a game on 360 that i found better then the pc version. Well maybe fifa might be.

Please enlighten me so i can go on a spending spree for my 360 which has 3 games lol.

Well, there must be some truth in what i say...else the PC games forum would be busier and the game sales charts would be different than what they are.

I'm not talking about your personal preference in games and game types here, just sales. Speak for themselves really.

also that 200 quid piece of hardware can do wonders.
I haven't seen a PC game blow it away. and the 360 costs less than your graphics card.
Not everybody will drop 1500 just for a PC, but 200 quid for something which will give you the same, maybe even better results, then yeah that is easier to justify ;)

The whole experience is just better. For example when bioshock comes out in a couple of weeks, mines will land on my doorstep i will go put in it my 360 and it will be playing in what a minute? and will look just as good as pretty much any PC kicking around. Also have all my online functions without having to alt tab etc.
But for the PC you will have to 10-15 minute install, then hunting to see if there is a patch, then setting it up so it runs nice.... maybe after 45 mins you might get to see the game.
Just an example why folk like it too :)

well for a start you have the PC vs "PS2/PS3/PSP/Wii/DS/360" not to mention all those older consoles that pop up now and again. Then add in the pathetic fanboyism in the console section where a thread can be derailed in the first 5 posts into a console war and its easy to see why they have more posts.

Then add in all the questions regarding console hardware, questions on xbox live and then people complaining about their 360s going bang. Whereas all our hardware related posts go in a completely different section.

quantity does not beat quality in my book.

I seriously doubt that its because console games are better, which they are not :p

Better results on a console? Piffle :p

The PC games market is slow atm which makes things seem worse than they are. I doubt very much you will be seeing the quality of upcoming PC games on consoles.

I had a 360 and tbh i sold it 2 months after i got it, there was hardly any decent games for it at all. I doubt things have changed that drastically in the past 4 or 5 months.

Ehh?? no decent games? Most of the PC games are on it. The last PC game i bought was stalker, whereas i buy a console game often weekly.

10-15min install, but then you have have 10x faster loading times, never have to put the disk in the dvd-drive that is likely to break at any second and automatic patching through the multiplayer mode. ;) I know what I would choose. My pc cost less than £500, there's no need to spend £1500.

10x faster loading times? when the loading time is a matter of seconds then i wont lose much sleep over it for the cost of how many thousand? ;)

Strange, i've had three dvd drives in the last 2 years, all have broken at least 1 disk...360 hasn't broken any.

Buy better brands then, my nec has lasted about 4 years. Personally I'm tired of refitting xbox 360 lasers. And I bet microsoft are after losing $1.5 billion on hardware failures. ;)

nothing to do with DVD drives, just a poor cooling system.

Not really, have you heard of all the laser failures?

Not on the xbox 360, RRoD and Lack of bumpers in the dvd scratching discs, never heard of the laser failing tbh.

Waahey! First reply turned this thread into PC vs Consoles war!

*grabs the popcorn*

Does anyone else feel like they're trapped in some time loop, where no matter what console is released people scream "PC gaming is dying!!!111zeldarox", yet PC gaming is still going strong years after the console in question is shelved and "next gen" is released?

Consoles smell!

Learn to read properly ;)

I said there weren't many decent games. When i sold it stalker wasnt out on the console, even if it was i wouldn't have bought it. Not my kind of game.

I can read perfectly fine thanks ;)

I gave stalker as being pretty much one of the only PC games that didn't make it onto the 360. There are plenty of games on the 360 that are more than decent, and some of them are even being ported to the PC now ;)
