I want to buy the logitec MX mouse, so need a good quality wireless keyboard with no stupid gadgets or frills attached. Yet I can not find one anywhere, I dont want fancy LCDs or gaming lights or weird curves or waves, i need it to program on, so all i want is a regular keypad with top draw build quality.

Has the market lost its way here?

I think so, Ive struggled with this prob.

I'm just gona give up and get a wired KB, probably this, £37.50 ic VAT & postage

We have those keyboards at work and they are awful to type on. They're also quite noisy. The original poster asked for a high end keyboard so I think the das is the best choice.

Or theres always this sexy number from IBM, good KB actually, we have them at work (the wired version).

works well, but big and urrrrg-lee

dingle WIRELESS!!!

Matty , it comes with a mouse, why do i have to buy a combo with a mouse, i want the MX mouse! This is the issue, there are no good wireless keyboards to buy on their own :(

It looks like the seperate MX revoltion mouse idea may have to be binned.

Insteead its either the Logitech MX 5000 combo or the Desktop MX 3200 cobo.

5000 is about £20 more, but you get a bluetooth reciever, however with this i read it causes lag! Why is it always a compromise buying PC parts :(

I've got one of them and they're the best keyboards I've ever used - I've had numerous M$ and Logitec ones including the G15 and I've always come back to this - it only cost me £12 though. . . . .

One of the best keyboards i have ever had the pleasure to work with it:

These are superb. The board is flat and the keys do nto have to travel that far so they are very easy to press. They also have a pleasing "feel" when pressed. My friends and I purchaed this and a mouse for my friends 21st, since then (august) his typing speed has improved and accuracy has increased by about 20% (so much easier to hit the correct key at faster speeds), so for your line of needs I would imagine this would be perfect. i will be purchasing one to replace my Logitech one soon.

IBM's (especially the older ones, ESPECIALLY the buckling spring OLD ones) are the ones to have if you want something to type on. they are all ugly tho, and none are wireless.
so no good for lanparty pose!

ive been using mine for 6 years, and it lived 5 years in a busy Govt office prior to that and its still faultless...

depends what you want
