Spec me a " " threads?

Are there really people who don't know how to decide things / dress themselves / make any kind of decision whatsoever?

I haven't got a problem with all the relationship threads because that's mostly just thinking out loud, but seriously, what should I wear to 'x' event, should I do something stupid with my money instead of something sensible, and spec me a sandwich threads... Is there really any need?

Agreed. The only thing that annoys me more than the morons who can't even choose a chair to sit on is the term "spec me" being used for everything.
It's almost getting as bad as Weegs "did they died".

With the mass of people here I honestly don't really mind the spec me a toaster/washing machine threads. May as well use that amount of people to get a good bit of gear.

It's some of the plain weird ones..
 
Because they want advise on getting/doing something...

They ask people who might know more on the subject in question.

Simply asking for a few extra opinions, or ideas. Stupid things are often very fun. Sensible might be boring or may require patience. They may need talking into one or the other even though they have already decided what they want.

Sharing of nice recipes, nothing wrong with that, I love trying out new sandwiches, and would genuinely be interested what others like.



Sorry to break it to you, but this is an overclocking forum, likely filled with a large percentage of geeks who might live on the internet, and genuinely have nowhere better to ask for stuff. Or in some cases ( hw forums), people who might know little are asking the opinion of people who know more about that stuff.
