look i'm really not bothered if i get banned from the forum i'll take my custom somewhere else it's clever a forum mod will lose OC probably a couple of grand in sales over the next couple of years just because they simply couldn't request something to be moved, or ask that next time i post it somewhere else,

Why make such a big deal? if everyone was allowed to do what you did, then the forum will be cluttered to fluff...

yeah but why not just have it moved rather than locked. If the youtube thread was stickied i would have spotted it and i don't really visit GD much usally in general hardware or graphics section or pc games

Whoa calm down man. This is an internet forum and there's a specific thread for TouTube videos. If everyone started posting new threads for single YouTube videos it would become extremely cluttered.

Why don't you just find the YouTube thread and and repost the video in there instead of moaning?
 
look sorry for posting vid in wrong thread i'm just venting cause i think it was a bit unfair to lock the thread so quickly.

because if we move them after they are posted then folks think "ooh I will have 20 mins cluttering the forum with my own thread and then it ends up where it belongs anyway"

I normally just delete them so you appear to have preferential treatment

I'd say maybe it's because locking is easier, mods don't get paid to do the work as far as I know :D

If your post was informative and coherent, I doubt they would have done either anyway, not saying it wasn't - this thread seems to suggest it is though :p

being a little more polite than saying we haven't got a clue would be appreciated though
 
Isn't creating threads about deleted or locked threads against the rules anyway? so incoming nuke maybe :o
