Why Bread!

Got to admit I assumed this was from the 419 scam, the story of asking for photographs with a loaf of bread on his head, to prove it was really him, has been around for years.

I always thought it was because loaves have the date on, or am I being too sane?

Possibly too sane but I suspect just way off since you can't see the date in most photos anyway. Aside from the explanation which Fox has given for the OcUK bread phenomena I'd guess that for most other places bread is simply a slightly ingongruous item to be placed in an ordinary photo which would suggest the reality of the claim - rather like taking a picture with that days newspaper (where you can see the date).

Fabs, bread - same thing.

Ones a delicious iced treat, the others a loaf. Parties must suck (no pun intended) if you can't tell the difference. :p

That loaf of bread is not sealed.

My favourite bread moment (sorry for the vaugeness of informations);

When someone on these very forums took a picture of what looked like his girlfriend, passed out on a bed and after some abuse with a loaf on her head. Brilliant, i laughed for hours.

I believe it was this one. You'll be reading for a while though until it gets really hilarious :)

Edit: I think the actual pics that the OcUK member took were taken down about half an hour after they were put up. I never saw 'em but it was still funny to read

Oh. My. Actual. God.

How the **** did i miss this thread?!?! I'm on page 6 and they've already discovered his name despite him not believing in the power of the OcUK detectives.

I'm with you on this mate. I've heard about this thread but never seen it. So followed the links and just reading it now. Thing is I know i've read the first page before I just obviously never subscribed to it and then missed the rest.
