I noticed recently that a lot of jeans just seem to not fit me:rolleyes:

Im not fat, nor skinny, im pretty well built, without sounding like i have a massive ego;)

Problem i find is that my upper legs(maybe through cycling) just dont fit most jeans that i like.

so my question is this, are straight leg jeans ment to be tight on the upper thighs? ie if i tried to bend down/squat it impossible.

i have some boot cut jeans which i can benddown/squat in but i dont really like them at all as they look too casual.

Suggestions....seen some nice diesel jeans but they OMG exspencive

I can never find jeans that fit me properly either. I'm quite little but have quite a big bum so it's hard to find something that fits round the hips, bum and legs.

So I just stick to dresses.

screenshot or it never happened

Ontopic: You gotta just find an outlet that does something you do like that fits and become a fanboy as usually thats the only way to get more stuff you like.. maybe jacamo might work for you as they are aimed at the bigger people which may work in your muscly legged favour!

I'm the exact same, I always have to buy sloucher and super sloucher jeans for them to fit.
Nothing worse then having to buy 36" jeans if they're regular and 34" if they're sloucher jeans.

Even though I've a 30" waist, all in the glutes and legs.

i'm similar to you op, although mine's from rugby. You'll either have to go for a larger waist size or buy loose fit jeans. Loose fit jeans are my regular ;)

B@

Gap easy fit are loose through the whole leg without making you look like a teen sakteboarder, they've also got a sale on denim atm I think.

:p

Seriously though I suffer with a similar issue OP. I've rather tall (6'5") and for some reason most supposedly larger sized clothes are built for very wide short people.

Any loose fit jeans will fit you fine.

Failing that buy one or two sizes up and take them to a seamstress to be altered.

I have large quads & glutes from squatting and these two options work well for me.

Go to a levi shop. The assistants are helpful and the range is pretty massive. I have trouble with jeans but they gave me the best pair I've ever had. Wear em all the time and they hold colour and shape perfect

I'm well built, 6 foot 3 and 17 stone, with a 36 inch waist and the only thing I can find that are a good fit for my frame are hugo boss skinny fit (don't like boot cut or loose fitting jeans, skinny all the way) granted not the cheapest option but they work for me and tried so much before settling on them, several pairs later I won't look anywhere else.

I wanted some jeans that weren't 4 inches too big on the waist in order to fit. Went to the Levis store in London and tried on almost a dozen (very understanding assistant) before finding the Levi 506 Regular Stretch Diamond ones. The cut fits without being baggy, and i can still squat all the way down (helps that they contain 2% Elastane). Not cheap though :(

Was comical trying on some 501s, could do them up fine, but could actually bend my legs and then relax, and not fall down because they were so tight they kept me upright.
