Yep, exactly. If you want to keep using IPv6 then it should just be a case of making sure that the Internet v6 In rule you created points to the IPv6 address of the target system and updating the AAAA record in the same way.
Thanks yet again for all your help with this, it really is appreciated! I have no idea how things had been working OK until now with the wrong address on the AAAA records, and the lack of firewall rule, so will just place it in my 'mysterious' box! I've definitely learnt from this experience, and you never know who it might help in the future if they're searching for a similar issue...
