Why Choose Precision over Afterburner

Afterburner is good and also has frame rate limit which is good for gsync and limiting 2 FPS below max FPS to avoid Vsync.

I would agree that Afterburner just works. If you get a EVGA 1080 with RGB, Just set the colour you like then uninstall Precision X. That's what I did with my Gigabyte Xtreme 970. Gigabyte GuruII software is rubbish

I've always used Afterburner and planned to try Precision when I got my 1080. Interesting to see most people prefer Afterburner. I agree Afterburner has given me no problems whatsoever, and is simple and intuitive to use.

Used evga precision x for 30min trying to OC my evga gtx 1080 SC ACX 3.0, and it crashed 3 times and making my pc freeze.
I uninstalled it and got msi afterburner instead. I mainly use this for gpu oc and it just works and is stable.
