why did humpty dumpty fall?

this made me really chuckle...

my 11 year old nephew has homework in preparation for his SATS

one question for it was "name two reasons why humpty dumpty may have fallen off the fall"

his first answer was "he was pushed"

his second answer " he fell off on purpose so he could call the national accident helpline and claim money!"

its amazing what kids say these days!!

my sister has let him put it through as an answer - hehe

and just as a note of interest, the original Humpty Dumpty was actually a cannon, which was shot, or it fell off a wall which is why all the kings horses and men were called on to the scene to pick up the pieces and try and get it going again.

I can see the funny side but it's a ****ing crime that these adverts are getting into kids heads. Same goes with the 'get into more debt' ones, they put them on during kids programs.

Plus the fact only horses were allowed to help when clearly other animals such as dogs or kittens could have provided a higher level of care.

Not only is Humpty Dumpty being attacked for political correctness, but so has Bah Bah Blacksheep because somehow it incites hatred towards black people. :rolleyes:

Mindmaps/Brainstorms, nursery rhymes, etc, are all getting worked on to make them politically correct. It's being taken waaaaay too far, imo.
