hum well,

when i 1st got my 360 it was bundled with condenmed. I played like 10 mins of the game and thought it was rubbish and slow, so traded it in. I managed to buy it last week for £20 and have since played though it - what a game. So atmospheric and scary in places (mr tibbet in the locker really DID scare me for a second :) ) and i'm now wondering why i exactly traded in such a good game in the 1st place?

Anyways, just thought i post to say that, for those who care ;p

Hehe :D I really enjoyed this game.

Instead of Doom 3, which has a very similar atmosphere, due to the nature of the combat system being that you have to get up close to the baddies (unless you use the guns, which are turd and no-fun tbh) I found myself just going 'RAHH!!' and running through the levels with a grin on my face bashing peoples heads in lol :D

I did indeed enjoy it, quite hard in places too particularly with that weirdo metal plates guy at the end, and I don't think I understood the story properly either lol..

Apart from Burnout Revenge which has been my best online purchase, Condemned has been one of the best single-player games in recent years.

agreed best game ive played in yrs:) A good adult game, i think lot of people didnt like it because of this,, its sloow atmospheric pace and good story, made a change from all the flashy gimmicky games about?

I still have it but really hate it - i will complete it though to find out the story then sell it on, but atm i play a chapter every 3/4 weeks - its pretty damned boring - and not in the slightest bit atmospheric imo

It remains as my most memorable 360 game to date. Both Kameo and Condemned I find are overlooked by a great deal of people, and imo they were the best launch titles.

Yup great game, as above when the mannequins move is one of my highlights. Holds the atmosphere really well and all I can say to those who havent played it is go buy it.

I'm always doing that - buying a game, either not liking it much or getting bored of it, selling it - then a few weeks or months later, buying it again and giving it another try. On several occasions I've been very glad I did :) And on other occasions I wondered why the hell I bothered :p

I enjoyed Condemned, just the right length for the amount of gaming time I get and a bit like an interactive film in a way.

I did the same with Amped 3, I got it bundled with my 360 and was put off by all the negative comments about it so sold it without trying it (thought I could get more for a sealed copy) and then bought it second hand 3 or 4 months later. I thought it was a pretty good game, and a hell of a lot better than kong and kameo which I kept :o

the scary manakins changing position when you turned around was the best bit.

.
i scare quite easily in games like this lol, so that bit freaked me out, classic game though, well presented and thought out and it was far more enjoyable than a scary movie, it did make me feel like i was playing a film, i love games that can give this impression, its not to slow you just need to realise this isnt cod 2.
