Lucky that it head dead centre... might have hurt the drivers face a bit.

Anyways - who fancies some nuggets? :p

that must have been terrifying for the driver

he saw it coming though and moved his head out of the way

Posted before, think we agreed it was a PS.

There's no way its shopped. I've imported the pics into PS from a slideshow in case the PS detectives get on the case however.

I found it hard to believe a chicken would punch a hole thru the windscreen myself, but there's no way you could acurately 'shop on the splatter

This is a stupid question but can chickens fly? :p If not I'm trying to work out how it went through the window rather than under the wheels.

they can lift themselves off the ground a bit yeah

they aint going to start flying south for the winter, but i've seen them get a good couple of inches up. Enough to start sliding up the bonnet i'd reckon.

I've seen them easily get higher than 5ft or so onto ledges. It could definitely fly as high as the windscreen.

kind of, not very well... if you throw them then they flap their wings and land safely :/

im guessing the air forced the light chicken up off the bonnet?

I wonder how fast the driver was going when he hit it. Looks like it was damn fast. Pretty good job to keep it on the road if that's the case.
I'm not sure I could have managed that when looking like I've just come out of the Somme.

Wonder how much a valeting firm will charge for that.
