Why did the time thread disappear?

you've got to think that, although you may have no affiliation with OCUK other than using their forums and buying from them, that it is all too easy for a racist/sexist joke to be taken by some pollitically correct nutter as a view of OCUK as a company and sue them. the mods have a hard job but i think they do a good job [/brown nosing]

Ahhh but some subjects go un moderate completly

I don't think that OcUK is overly strict as a forum. I know some places that are far stricter. There's a themepark/fairground site I post on, and your user name must be your real name. In the contrary, a Disney forum insists that you must not reveal your real name. You can't say how old you are and you can't put your deviantART / Facebook / Myspace profile etc in your sig or posts. Any Disney pictures you post must be uploaded using the forum's upload tool, otherwise off-site linking is regarded as 'advertising' your own site and gets deleted. The themepark/fairground site won't let you post pictures bigger than 640x480, so to be fair, we do have it pretty good here :-)

As was stated in that thread by a user, it was going in the wrong direction pretty much from the start! If you want to have a discussion about the science of it then feel free, but that thread wasn't the place.
