Okay, I built my first rig up yesterday (woo!) and had some stability troubles with the hardrive: if something was writing heavily to the HDD, it would crash and hang the whole system, even if it was only 50mb or so.
This was a Samsung drive in one of the intel sata ports on the DS3. I decided to swap it into the other ports, labeled Gsata, and I don't get a problem at all, the system positivly flys along...
Why could this have been? both drivers were installed
It also looks like windows is picking it up as a real Sata drive now....
