Why did you join this forum?

Was buying an athlon xp 2500+ and nf7, figured I'd join the forum also. Came in useful upon delivery when it would always bluescreen at shutdown... Curse you nforce chipset drivers!

Stayed on here so I can post rubbish and be distracted from life. Worked out well.

First I lurked before the big boom, then signed up to get advice on a PC build, but ever since it's mostly for entertainment value. By entertainment I mean the absolutely unforgivable stupidity some people demonstrate ;)

Was asking about advice on building my first PC I think, then I just stumbled on GD.. as everyone does.

To give the English a good bashing. :p

In seriousness, I can't remember what made me go 'hmm I'll register' but I found the place after trying to get the Athlon gold finger & fop32 and artic silver iirc. Saw a pretty diverse forum with good technological advice and thought that looks ok.

And it's been the worst decision I've ever made, you are all a bunch of muppets ;)

I joined the forum because I was told it had a great community of nymphomaniac blondes with stunning bodies.

I was sorely disappointed.

Or more realistically, I was looking for advice on a Slot A K7 Athlon back in the day, when men were men, and unlimited 56k was king.

Was looking for info on overclocking of all things. Fancy that ey? Most of the members don't even play games by the looks of things.
