Basically just use whatever is typed out on the BB forums. The only thing that stops The Misc being the worst subforum ever is the fact that some of the posters are being ironic in their overuse of the phrases.

This is a whole world i never knew existed, I feel like a Disney princess..

Damn i need to get fit but.. some of these guys look ridiculous..

i pooped my pants :(

Cannot be bothered to read through the posts, but an old friend of mine turned into a gym rat and became a complete and utter pillock in the process. I think there could well be a correlation between the two in more than 46.3% of cases. Hopefully you're not in that percentile, but you could well be.

Well generally if you look at it objectively,

Why do most guys turn into gym rats? well most times (not always mind) they eventually pluck up the motivation to go to gym operating from a place of confidence and body issues/insecurity. Generally to do with woman or wanting the respect of other men.

Then as they continue to grow in their confidence (Which is a good thing normally) as they gain size/strength whatever, but the problem is sometimes they grow their confidence in the wrong way becoming more egotistical/fitness know it alls or condescending, judgemental etc and then people just start think they are bell ends, OP may be suffering from this or he may not and his friends are just nobs.

However, Why do I know this? I hung around with lot of gym dudes in the past and because that used to me I probably turned into a bit of a beller at one point without realising it :D

Tefel as I posted on FB, this guy used to go by the name Peter_1982 or something. He came in, posted that first picture (from this thread) and how he had 18" biceps or something ridiculous. People understandably said he was wrong as he most certainly doesn't, I asked him to post another picture to get a better indication of size and he never did.

About 6 months later, he posted another thread about how much weight he had lost, and used the exact same two pictures again......

The guy has a thing for coming on and trying to get some sort of pat on the back from a PC Hardware forum, or he's got a funny way about trying to impress people. Either way, no smoke without fire - he's just a thoroughly odd chap.

To be fair, the thread isn't about his weight loss, it's how his friends are reacting. And he only posted the pic on page 3, after someone had asked him to.

The guy might be insecure, and it seems his mates aren't the kindest bunch of people, so maybe he is looking for some kind remarks in his life.

Nothing wrong with that.

He certainly doesn't deserve some of the **** he's getting from you lot.

To the OP, the problem is you're focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity. So maybe you could use the few brain cells you have and take advantage of the knowledge I have given you now. Good luck.

If he wanted a confidence boosting pat on teh back then he should have posted in the section where we would have got a 100% one and not bump into high body fat sarcastic immature, non lifting idiots like myself.

Its probably a mix of him telling his mates that they are eating dead calories and are not joocy enough and the mates thinking what teh hell happened to this guy, we no longer share the same pitiful non lifting outlook on life.

Looking at the before and after... dude you be ripped.

Those guys are just jealous, just laugh in their face, if they don't want to be friends with you any more its their loss. Make new friends who are just as dedicated and motivated as you clearly are to make such a difference.

Friends should make you happy, not make you feel negative.

I have relatives from not so far back that were Nimibian tribesman. They happen to have fought lions just to become warriors. I don't know what you know about lions but they aren't like your average cat. I bet you would absolutely **** your...self if you ever saw a real life lion, especially if you were only holding a sharpened stick and you were naked. Come talk to me when some of your family members have gone on the Zambutu bibjano; A.K.A. the trial of life. Until you have done half the **** that they have maybe you shouldn't even talk to me like this. I know you think you're hard and **** but guess what pal, you aren't. Now go grow some Namibian genes and we'll talk about this **** for real.

I'm confused whether to take this seriously or read it in a funny accent and bask in the well written sarcasm (If that is it's intended use). But it's if it a serious post gloss over this comment and ignore it.

Edit: Basically my confusion of whether or not this post is serious or not means it has been successful in it's endeavour to inflict max trollery.
