This is the second pair i've had which has broken after a few months. Is it because I keep buying the cheap ones from town cos this is really annoying me now. Since I use teamspeak I like to hear my friends through my headset instead of my 5.1 setup. On my one set the right earphone stopped working and I banged it on the table in fustration shattering it into a thousand pieces and my other headset has no sound through both earphones.

I need some comfort :(

Got me a pair of Sennheiser PC130's, the bottom of the range ones, 'cus i'm a cheapskate too...

And they've lasted ages! Don't think they're gonna break any time soon either.

exactly what this man said. my PC130s have been loads better than the crappy medusa headset. The medusa hada nice box and big cans, whereas these have really good sound quality (for £18) and *bonus* the microphone hasnt broke like on the medusa's where it just stopped working.

bargain

get the pc 150 if you want better. though the 130s are great for the dollar

i know what u mean all headsets ive used have ended up with things wrong two logitechs had one speaker not work and now my current seinheisser 130 mic has broke but the speakers are quality even though they cost me less then the logitech

cant say ive had any issues with my medusa headset (yet, *touch wood*) bar the fact i cant have my mobile within 10m of the amp or it goes ballistic...and i find very little more annoying than the sound of mobile interferance

I've got some that are nearly 2 years old and no problems at all touch wood :)

Wow, you must have ones made of magical one off unbreakable plantronics materials then... :p

I'm on my second pair, but hardly use them as I've not required a headset to play games for a long time.

Never buy Logitech imo, bought a pair a while ago and they broke within a month. The right speaker stopped working, and would only work again if you fiddled around with the volume control and got it 'just right' between a lot of crackling. Worst headset I've ever owned.

Lol :p
I didn't even own them for the first year :D Friend gave me their old pair. Both of us have treated them well though.

had 2 plantronics 60 i think, 1 broke, few months later bought another, that broke within a year, so i emailed them and they replaced them both :)

my bro is using 1, the other is still in its packaging.

im currently using the sped link 5.1 medusa, im on my third paid as my first had a dodgy amp so front speakers were distorted, second pair it kept almost squeaking mainly on teamspeak so i sent those back, 3rd paid work fine although something rattles in the left earphone, but its working and has been for quite a while so im happy
