You know something Nickg. I for one time only I wish KB/M worked with GOW. Cause I know for a fact I would wipe the floor with most KB/M players in that game.

As dirtydog said.... no you don't.
You would probably get spanked.
However, not so badly as you would in any FPS.

Speaking of the analogue sticks being more "life like". What rubbish. As stated above, it is down to the programmers. In some games, such as Brothers in Arms, when you run, the reticule bobs and it does not have "pin point accuracy" because the gun does not fire perfectly straight over and infinite distance. It is much more realistic. However, to play this game with duals, the AI would have to be really slow or you would be getting killed left, right and centre.
Turning and aiming are so much slower on duals. That is totally UN-lifelike. I can turn and aim in real life almost instantly.

its all just practice. I remmeber when i first used a keyboard and mouse after reading it was better for quake. I sucked.

When I first played goldeneye at my mates house I was running into walls spinning around on the spot I was hopeless. But I played and played and played and it all came good. Joypads are second nature to me now, I like em. I like the K/b and mouse too. It doesnt matter that the pad is less accurate as long as the game was designed for it. The skill levels in single player will be accordingly matched and online everyone will be using a pad too.

Well the challange stands. Anyone who wants to get a group of KB/M 360 players on GOW are welcome to a match against myself and some of the people I play with regularly.

What would that prove though... a) the 360 KB/M thing doesn't work like a proper KB/M as I understand it, and b) console FPS games have generous aiming assistance and low accuracy requirements to make up for the poor control method.

How about we play a game of UT2004 on the PC - I use keyboard/mouse, you use a joypad...

The boast was made regarding GOW not UT2004 and a 360 not a PC. I was very clear in those statements for several reasons.

Edit:
A)Also if this was a decent emulator then it would sort out the issues.
B)The generous aiming will assist you more than me (apparently)
