why do washing machines have a view?

It's so that you can watch the colour of your best white shirts change when you realise you've left a red sock in there

yes odd isnt it

you can stop our washer at any point during the cycle and open the door, never tried it when its got loads of water in. useful if you realise you dropped some pants on the stairs or something

So you can see if it's still full of water before opening the door obviously, top loaders don't need one as water wont spill upwards.

When I was a young'un I used to like sitting on the kitchen floor and watching the washing go round and round.

Except any Washing Machine that's working properly won't let you open the door while it's full. It might be it's stuck from way back when.
